MAFS UK couple Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts ‘split’ days after reunion airs

MAFS UK couple Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts ‘split’ days after reunion airs

The E4 couple are said to have gone their separate ways

Just days after the eagerly-anticipated Married At First Sight UK reunion, one of the most promising couples have seemingly gone their separate ways.

That's right. According to the MailOnline, dating show contestants Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts have split up after just less than a year together *cries*.

The duo first met on the hit E4 dating series - which sees unlucky-in-love singletons embark on a romantic 'blind date' matchmaking experiment in a bid to find 'the One' - after they both entered the series later down the line.

But according to the publication, Sheffield-born personal trainer Jordan and social media manager Erica have suffered 'months of bitter fallouts' since the series came to an end in November.

So much so, that their romance allegedly 'turned toxic', and watching the emotional reunion episode together earlier this week - which aired on Monday night - painful memories were quickly conjured up for the on-screen couple.

During the most recent instalment of MAFS, Jordan and Erica were filmed yelling across the room at one another over their differences, so much so, that their co-star gal pal Adrienne Naylor was forced to intervene.

The couple clashed several times on the show.

A source close to the reality TV couple is said to have told the news outlet that Erica was the one to call off their romance.

"[She] ended her marriage with Jordan," they claimed. "She did everything possible to make it work but sadly they struggled and in the end, she had no choice but to give up.

"Jordan can be hotheaded and Erica's looking for someone who's a bit more laidback so in the end it was a constant personality clash."

The source reportedly continued: "Of course, both parties are upset and didn't want this to be how their story ended but also in the long-term, it's better for them both to move on."

While appearing on the much-loved dating show, Jordan was accused of cheating on Erica during a heated dinner-party altercation.

Around the same time, the Daily Mail released an photo of him getting into a taxi following a night out along with a woman that was certainly NOT Erica.

The couple are said to have split up following a rocky romance.

Their cast-mate Thomas Kriaras brought the scandal up in conversation,

"Was it the blonde or brunette that Jordan kissed?" he candidly asked.

Jaws were on the floor as Jordan denied the allegations and stormed off.

Jordan also told the Mail: "The accusation of me cheating on Erica is 100 percent false and clearly coming from someone who has a malicious agenda to try and ruin our relationship."

Tyla contacted Jordan and Erica's representatives for comment on their alleged split.
