A TikTok user has videoed herself washing out her boyfriend's old stained pillows after 10 years - and we feel a bit ill, tbh.
Social media users watched on in horror as muck and grime oozed from the filthy pillows. Ew!
In the clip - which has since gone viral - the woman claims her boyfriend refused to replace his pillows and unbelievably hadn't washed them once in an entire decade.

Wow! While we're guilty of being a slack on changing our bedding from time to time, this is next level.
The TikToker documented the full cleaning process, rinsing out three of the mucky pillows - which appear yellowed and discoloured - and the result is astounding.

While her boyfriend was at work, she placed them in the bathtub and threw in a couple of dishwasher tablets.
Next up, she poured some Borax powder into the tub before adding bleach into the mixture.
The woman then proceeded to use a mop to wring out the dirt from the pillows before tossing them into the washing machine.

Surprisingly, the pillows came out completely white - a stark contrast to their dark yellow and brown shade before the wash.
We'd have been tempted to throw the pillows away but giving them a thorough wash is the sensible, sustainable solution.
The video has since gone viral on TikTok, gaining over 1.7 million views and leaving users in shock at the state of the pillows before they were washed.
One shocked commentator said: "With that alone, I would replace the boyfriend. Hygiene is everything."

Another added: "10 years of sweat, dead skin, dirt, oil and bacteria."
Meanwhile, a third chimed in: "They are meant to be replaced every two years... they come with expiry dates on them..."
There's contradicting advice on how regularly to wash your pillows.

Ideal Home advise giving your pillows a thorough clean at least every six months, while Good Housekeeping suggest that pillows be washed two to four times a year - that's approximately every four months.
One thing we can safely say, though, is that no one would recommend neglecting your pillows for TEN YEARS. Yikes!
