Earlier this year, we heard the exciting news that Disney was teaming up with Allure Bridal to bring expectant brides the fairytale weddings they've always dreamed of with a collection of magical wedding dresses.

We were teased with just three sketches from the two collections - the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection and the Platinum line - which feature 16 dresses in total.

But now, the collection has finally dropped and it's everything we'd hoped for and more.

The out-of-this-world collections feature gowns for Disney princesses Aurora, Jasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Princess Tiana, Ariel and Belle.

With 16 magical gowns in total, the nine princesses (bar Rapunzel and Pocahontas) have inspired two dresses in both the mainline a premium ranges.

We implore you to browse the whole collection here (honestly, there's just too many stunning ones to show you), but we've included just a few of our favourites below.

First, there's the first of Jasmine's gowns - a princess-cut gown featuring luxurious Mikado fabric, with an embroidered and sparkling beaded bodice and buttons down the length of the gown. This "rich and elegant tribute" also features a detachable train.

Next up is Ariel's dress which (of course) features a mermaid hemline and a "ruffled skirt that moves as gracefully as the ocean's tide," according to Disney Weddings, adding: "Ariel perfectly embodies the bride who is willing to cross oceans for love."

Tiana's gown "embodies both Tiana's practicality and creativity". It will be covered in shimmering vines and blossoms and features a full skirt for the ultimate princess feel.

The Belle-inspired gown however has been described by Allure as "pure romance". It is an elegant ballgown with lace and a waltz-ready skirt.

The dresses will be available in sizes 0 to 30 with the regular line available in wedding boutiques across North America and the Platinum collection available exclusively in Kleinfeld Bridal stores in New York and Toronto.

The Platinum line will come at a higher cost - between $3,500 (£2,688) and $10,000 (£7,861) - than the regular line, which will see dresses start at $1,200 (£921) and peak at $2,500 (£1920).

The price however, will reflect materials with extensive crystal beading, pearls, hand-embroidered applique and delicate sparkle tulle incorporated.

"So many brides grow up admiring their favourite Disney Princess characters and are inspired by their journeys, gowns, and stories of classic films," Allure Bridals CEO Kelly Crum said.

"We are honoured to work with Disney on this collection and see the romance of it come to life."

We didn't think we were the princess wedding type, but after seeing this, we stand corrected.
