A lot of people will go to extreme lengths in pursuit of their perfect look, and for one woman, this involved making a duct tape bikini.
Anne Lima, 34, a fitness model from Brazil, stunned fans when she posed next to a pool in a seemingly standard red bikini.
However, on closer inspection, the bikini is actually made out of duct tape.

She explained that she had made the surprisingly stylish, but unusual, outfit in a bid to get the perfect tan lines following her entry to the Brazilian Miss BumBum competition, where the model will be representing Rio de Janeiro.
She told NeedToKnow.online: "The tan with this kind of mark is perfect, the goal is to show the design made with the tape itself.
"I use this tanning trick before any competition, it helps a lot to get to the final.

"It's getting hotter and hotter, so the little mark needs to be on."
But, while Anne's competing with her body, she also said that her look is not without its downsides.
The model explained that men might say they 'love' the thickness of her thighs, but many are reluctant to get intimate with her because their bodies are comparatively small.

However, this doesn't stop her from showing off her duct tape bikini, as well as her 'tree trunk' thighs on Instagram.
Social media commentators were quick to praise the unconventional bikini, which, at first glance, still bears a striking resemblance to more conventional swimwear.
One Instagram user wrote: "Beyond magnificent."

"A detail makes all the difference," added a second, presumably in reference to Anne's tan lines, while a third wrote: "Perfect!"
Others, meanwhile, couldn't keep their eyes off the model's body.
"Goddess of my dreams," praised one fan, while another added: "Nice body."

Anne also explained that the duct tape bikini took longer to make than you'd might expect - two hours.
However, if you're inspired to make a duct tape bikini of your own, you'll need a helping hand as apparently it's not possible to do by yourself.
She said: "You can't do it alone, because the tape needs to be passed in straight lines!
"You don't want any crooked marks."
Needless to say, Anne, who often shares her workout routines online, is definitely no stranger to working hard to get the look of her dreams.
What do you think of the duct tape bikini? Would you ever wear one to get perfect tan lines?
