Adele, 33, broke down in tears on social media as she was forced to issue an apology to fans.

Adele was meant to start her ongoing Las Vegas residency at the world famous Caesar’s Palace this weekend, but had been hit by a number of delays as the covid-19 omicron variant swept across America.
In the emotional footage, the ‘Oh My God’ singer explained: “Listen, I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready.
“We’ve tried everything that we can to put it together in time, and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and covid.
“Half my crew and half my team are down with covid, and it’s been impossible to finish the show.”
Her voice cracking with emotion, Adele continued: “I can’t give you what I have right now, and I’m gutted.
“I’m sorry this is so last minute. We’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out, and we’ve run out of time.
“I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed. I’m so sorry for everyone who’s travelled again. I’m really really sorry.”
Adele added that she was going to reschedule all of the dates and get her long-awaited show to where it’s supposed to be.
“I’m so sorry, it’s been impossible,” she said. “We’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready.
“I’m really sorry.”
Despite the bad news, fans were quick to support the visibly tearful Adele, flocking to the comments and quoting her own lyrics where they urged her to “go easy” on herself.
Singer Pink expressed her sympathy, writing: "Sweetheart, I have been there.
“The pressure is immense and I’m gutted for all of you. It will come together and it will be amazing when it does.”
“Minor setback for a major comeback! We still love you,” another fan agreed.
“I admire your vulnerability and honesty. Be well, stay healthy, and take the time you need,” urged another, while a third fan said: “Adele we love you and I’m pretty sure the fans would understand.”
