People are flocking to social media to call out Brits presenter Mo Gilligan for asking Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock about her children.
As well as getting Sam Smith and Lewis Capaldi's names intertwined, announcing the 'Forget Me' singer as 'Sam Capaldi' at the 2023 Brit Awards, Gilligan has also seen a flurry of tweets building in response to his catch-up with former Little Mix band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Catch the interview here:
Sitting down at Pinnock's table at the 2023 Brit Awards (Saturday, 11 February), Gilligan asked for her highlight of the night, before questioning whether or not it was nice for the singer to be sat watching the show rather than taking part and also for her favourite moment in the history of the Brit Awards.

Pinnock also teased she could be about to release new music soon when asked what fans can expect from her this year.
The presenter ended on the question: "Who is babysitting tonight, because tomorrow's Sunday, are you going out? Having it large?"
It's fair to say viewers weren't amused by Gilligan's final question to Pinnock.

One user said: "Turned on #BRITs to see an atrocious little man asking Ellie Goulding about her breasts, turned off. Turned it on again to find another atrocious man asking Leigh-Anne Pinnock who was looking after the baby. Sexist p***k bingo card looking pretty full."
"The anger that has just run through my veins at Leigh-Anne Pinnock being asked who’s babysitting?! how f***ing rude, WHY must people do this? would you ask a man this? Of course not. having a child isn’t the end of a woman’s life & it doesn’t become her entire personality #brits," another wrote.
A third commented: "So, Leigh-Anne Pinnock gets asked who is baby sitting her kids, but Stanley Tucci is not asked this. Wonder why. #BRITs."

Pinnock gave birth to twins in August 2021 and on their first birthday took to Instagram to celebrate.
She said: "Our cubbies turn one today. I am filled with so much emotion, pride but mostly happiness.
"I never knew how this was going to change my life, being a mum to two incredible little bubbas. I am so so grateful and so lucky that I get to wake up to their smiles every morning.
"My life has a whole new meaning. I have been given a miracle and I will never have the words to express how thankful I am for it."
