Doja Cat is facing backlash for vaping at last night’s Met Gala.
With the eyes of the world being on the event, the musician, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, was spotted having a quick puff on the red carpet before heading inside.
And it’s not the first time the 'Say So' singer has been spotted smoking at a glamorous event.
Back in 2022, Doja Cat was also seen smoking at the prestigious Grammy Awards on the red carpet and later that night, she posed for a portrait with her newest accolade.

And the 27-year-old musician was seen vaping again at the annual Billboard Music Awards that year.
As the crowd gave her a standing ovation, Doja anxiously took a swig of her drink and puffed her vape before flinging it on the ground to collect her award for the Top R&B Artist.
In May 2022, the singer vowed to quit the habit after a severe tonsil infection had left her crying ‘for hours’.
She said: "I'm quitting the vape for a while and hopefully i dont crave it anymore after that."

Doja then revealed on 24 August that she had been 'vape-free' for 70 days.
Whilst she’s certainly not the first celeb to be caught smoking at the Met Gala, there are strict rules in place regarding smoking at the event as it is banned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Fans have since taken to Reddit to share their reaction, and a lot of people weren't very pleased.

In the lengthy thread, one user pointedly wrote: “I feel like Doja knows she’s on camera and is aware of people picking up on her doing it. I don’t think it’s funny.”
Others agreed, with another fan referencing the infamous smoking picture from 2017’s Met Gala, which showed supermodel Bella Hadid smoking.
They added: “Ok not to be a hater but can't people just leave the vape at home, at least for like a few hours, or at least wait till you head to the bathroom.”

They continued: “This is just me being annoying tho cause having to be around people who vape all the time, it's just like pls.”
And one fan of the rapper even speculated whether this might be her last Met Gala.
They wrote: “I just saw a video of Anna and someone else who’s with the met saying smoking is a sure way to make sure you don’t get invited back but we all saw those bathroom pics from a few years ago and some of those ppl have been back so…”.
