Florence Pugh and Zach Braff have split after nearly three years of dating.
In a new interview, the actor, 26, and the Scrubs star, 47, revealed they had split earlier this year but decided to keep the decision private.
"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on," Florence told Harper's Bazaar.

"We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together. So we've done that."
The couple were first reported to be dating back in 2019, making headlines at the time over their 21-year age gap.
"Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it's paparazzi taking private moments, or moments that aren't even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it's incredibly wrong," Florence added.

"I don't think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about. We haven't signed up for a reality TV show."
In the past, Florence has had to defend her relationship with Zach, from followers who were critical over their age gap.
Back in 2020, after Florence shared a photo of Zach to mark his 45th birthday, she was forced to turn the comments off on the post.

“It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I have had to turn off the comments on my page,” she said.
“I will not allow that behavior on my page. I’m not about that. It makes me upset. It makes me sad that during this time when we really all need to be together — we need to be supporting one another, we need to be loving one another, the world is aching and the world is dying — a few of you decided to bully for no reason.
"I am 24 years old. I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love. And I would never in my life ever, ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love. It is not your place. And really, it has nothing to do with you.

"So if those rules are something that you do not like, then please unfollow me because the abuse that you throw at him is abuse that you’re throwing at me."
While the couple are no longer together romantically, Florence said she's looking forward to the release of their movie, A Good Person set to drop in 2023.
