Jennifer Coolidge did the most Jennifer Coolidge thing ever at this year's Golden Globe ceremony and viewers are now calling her to host.
After a muted ceremony in 2022, this year’s event took place the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles and was hosted by US comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
Presenting the award for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Television Series, Coolidge took centre stage and did not disappoint.

At the end of her hilarious speech, the American Pie star jokes: "And the Oscar goes to... Oh, no, it's the Golden Globes! The Golden Globe goes to..."
Commenting on her on-stage blunder, one fan said: "We need Jennifer Coolidge to host one of the shows one day #GoldenGlobes."
Another added: "Jennifer Coolidge going on and on about being nervous before presenting an award at the #GoldenGlobes gave me so much serotonin. Let her host everything!"

Moments before the mix-up, she warned the audience that something could potentially go wrong.
She said: "You know, somebody called Cara Bishop called me and said, 'Jennifer, we would like you to present at the Golden Globes this year.' And I said, 'Oh my God this is such an honour, thank you so much. Yes I would love to.' And I hung up on her.

"And then I thought about it for a little bit and I just had a complete anxiety attack and I got very, very nervous. And I thought, 'I'm not doing this.'
"So, I called Cara right back and I said, 'Cara I'm so touched that you'd want me to do this, but there's no way I'm gonna make it from behind the curtain all the way to the podium without breaking my skull... I just can't do it.'
"And then Cara... I think she was serious, she said, 'Jennifer, why don't you just wear a pair of crocs?'
"I said, are you kidding me? With my Dolce and Gabbana dress? All those crazy Italians will lose their minds!"

Turning our attention back to the show, Ke Huy Quan won the first Golden Globe award of the evening, best supporting actor in a motion picture, for his role in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
“I was raised to never forget where I came from, and to always remember who gave me my first opportunity. I am so happy to see Steven Spielberg here tonight,” he said.
“As I grew older, I started to wonder if that was it. If that was just luck for so many years, I was afraid I had nothing more to offer.
