Halsey Proudly Shows New 'Baby' Tattoo And Their Stretch Marks

Halsey welcomed their little one in July last year.

Singer Halsey has proudly showed off their stretch marks and new 'baby' tattoo on Instagram, a year on from welcoming their first child.

The 27-year-old - who uses she/they pronouns - took to Instagram with a series of bikini snaps, proudly showing off their mega cute tattoo and stretch marks.

The Without Me singer posed in a pink, yellow and green bikini for the photos, captioning the post: "Lightning fast post tour re-charge before the rocket that is @af94_ takes off!"

The cute tattoo can be seen below the navel, reading 'baby'.

Halsey welcomed their first child, Ender Ridley Aydin, in July last year with boyfriend Alev Aydin.

Announcing the birth, Halsey wrote at the time: "Gratitude. For the most 'rare' and euphoric birth. Powered by love."

Halsey has always been open about their journey towards parenthood.

In 2018, the singer opened up about the moment they realised they were having a miscarriage while performing on stage at a concert.

While discussing their battle with endometriosis on TV show The Doctor, Halsey explained: "I was on tour, and I found out I was pregnant.

"Before I could really figure out what that meant to me and what that meant for my future... the next thing I knew I was on stage miscarrying in the middle of my concert."

Halsey shared the photos on Instagram.

Endometriosis is where tissue, similar to the lining of the womb, starts growing elsewhere in the body, such as in the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Symptoms can be mild, right through to completely debilitating, and they include painful, heavy periods, lower back pain and difficulty getting pregnant.

The condition can be notoriously difficult to diagnose - something Halsey knows all too well.

In an interview last year, the New Yorker said: "I got misdiagnosed with chronic fatigue, with anxiety, they were telling me I was fainting because I was anxious."

They previously wrote on Twitter that the condition causes them to be 'in pain every day of [their] life'.

"I have endometriosis. I've had 3 miscarriages, 4 surgeries, pretty much in pain every day of my life and I've donated/raised upwards of $300,000 in the name of research and support," they wrote.

"I'm not trying to be quirky. Or different. I'm just trying to normalize an under discussed illness [sic]."

In other news, Halsey has a new single with Calvin Harris set to be released later this week. Stay With Me will be out on Friday (22 July) and also features Justin Timberlake and Pharrell.
