Hilary Swank has opened up about her pregnancy and the adorable coincidence about her due date. Watch the emotional clip below:
The Oscar-winning actress announced she is expecting twins with her husband Philip Schneider on Wednesday (5 October).

In a new interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 48-year-old said her due date is 16 April.
The date has a very special meaning for the P.S. I Love You star said it happens to be her late father Stephen Michael Swank’s birthday.
“They’re due on his birthday,” she reveals in a preview for Friday’s (7 October) episode. “Yeah, I know,” she said as her eyes filled with tears.
Hilary’s dad died in October 2021.
The Charlie’s Angels star reacted with shock after Hilary shared the touching meaning behind her due date, as the live studio audience gasped and clapped.

People in the comments were also taken aback by the coincidence, with one Instagram user revealing they ‘got chills when she said that.’
A second social media user shared: “My 1st was due on the 5th of the month. She didn’t show up until the 19th…which happened to also be the 1 [year] anniversary of my grandfather’s death. I like to think that it was his last big prank on me.”
A third person called the dates ‘divine intervention’ while someone else wrote they had ‘goosebumps.
One woman commented: “This happened to my brother-in-law. My nephew’s due date was 10 years to the date of my dad’s passing.”

Hilary, who is set to star as the lead in the upcoming ABC drama Alaska Daily, confirmed her baby news on Good Morning America: "I'm gonna be a mom! And not just of one, but of two.
"It's so nice to be able to talk about it and share it," she added.

Hilary and her husband Philip Schneider have been dating since 2016, and officially tied the knot in August 2018.
Hilary also took part in an interview Live with Kelly and Ryan where she described how she's managed to hide her growing bump on the set of her new show.
"It's such a blessing. It's a total miracle. It's unbelievable," she began
"My clothes started not to fit so I had to, the other day... cut [my jeans] open," she confessed.

"And then I put a jacket on that wasn't in continuity. And [they] came and said, 'That's not in continuity.' I said, 'Oh, I think it works.' 'It doesn't.' 'No, it does. I'm going to make it work.'
"She's like, 'If you're an executive producer, you can do it, but this is weird.'"
