Jaden Smith has said his mum, Jada Pinkett Smith, introduced psychedelics to their whole family.
The 24-year-old rapper opened up about his home life during a Psychedelic Science conference in Denver, Colorado, last week.
While he said the family had each managed to find the drugs in their own independent ways, it was in fact Jada who had first 'made that step'.

"I think it was my mum, actually, that was really the first one to make that step for the family," the 'Icon' star said.
"It was just her for a really, really long time and then eventually it just trickled and evolved, and everybody found it in their own ways."
He also added that the use of psychedelics helped him work on and improve his emotional relationship with his two siblings; younger sister Willow, 22, and older half-brother Trey, 30.

He continued: "Siblings can argue so much and fight so much, and lord knows me and my siblings have done so much of that in the past.
"But the level of love and empathy that I can feel for them inside of the [psychedelic] experiences and outside of the experiences has been something that’s profound and beautiful.”
Psychedelic drugs are currently illegal in the majority of states in the United States with only two - Oregon and Colorado - having decriminalised them.

Colorado has also legalised the limited use of magic mushrooms other plant and fungi-derived psychedelic drugs by those 21 years of age or older for recreational purposes back in November 2022.
Jada has also previously shared how 'plant medicine' has helped her deal with her own mental health struggles.
Back in 2021, the 51-year-old candidly discussed her experience with psychedelics in an episode of Red Table Talk which sees Jada, her daughter, Willow, and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, discuss a wide variety of topics.
She revealed: "I struggled with depression for so long. And the thing about the plant medicine is it helps you feel better but also solves the problems of how you got there in the first place."

Jada went on to tell viewers that those curious to try out psychedelics for their mental health should consult a medical professional before doing so.
"You have to really wanna do it, this is not for play," she explained.
"You have to be willing to confront some hard stuff. It is very healing and it has changed my life."
