Kerry Katona has revealed she named her son Max after a notorious sex offender.
The mum-of-five made the revelation while apologising over recent remarks she made about Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury’s choice of baby name.
In case you missed it, the former Atomic Kitten star wrote in her recent column for OK! Magazine that the couple would be wise to change daughter Bambi’s name as it could lead to teasing when she’s older.

In the column, Kerry wrote: "Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the birth of their daughter last week. It’s lovely news, but I must admit I’m not a fan of the name. I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous.
"It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot! The poor kid might get some stick in school.”
Now, Kerry has apologised for the comments and admitted that she was just trying to be funny in her article, but appreciates it may not have come across that way.

In a clip on Instagram, she wrote: "Yeah it's really played on my mind this has, I personally haven't seen any backlash from what I said, but when I saw it in my column I thought bloody hell Kerry! That sounds a bit harsh!
"I was trying to be a comedian and sometimes when you mix the two it doesn't come across very well.
"Bambi Fury is a great name! Since I said it, it's really, really, really played on my mind. I would never want to bring anybody down.
"I would never want to bully anybody or hurt anybody. I'm not that kind of person in the slightest.

"Sometimes I'll say something that I think is funny and it actually isn't.”
Kerry then went on to reveal that her 14-year-old son Max is actually named after her former publicist, Max Clifford.
She added: "What can I say... my son is named after bloody Max Clifford! What do I know? Do you know what I mean?"

Clifford, who died in 2017, had worked as Kerry’s PR representative at the time of Max’s birth.
In a statement at the time, he said: "Mum and baby are doing really well. It was a natural birth and the family are really happy.
"Of course, I am very proud that Max was named after me.
"Everyone knows how I feel about Kerry. I think the world of her."

However, in 2012, Clifford was given an eight-year sentence for historical sex crimes against four girls aged between 15 and 19 between 1997 and 1985.
