Kim Kardashian is the new celebrity ambassador for Beyond Meat after appearing in their latest advert on social media - but fans of the beauty mogul were left feeling pretty confused after noticing one odd detail about the promotion.

In the comedic advert, Kim claims that she believes in the Beyond Meat brand so much that she's decided to help them out with her best asset - "my taste."
It then cuts to a montage of Kim standing in front of some of the Beyond Meat food products, gazing straight ahead into the camera, taking selfies, and fist-bumping the chefs.

But although Kim describes the Beyond Meat products as "amazingly delicious", fans couldn't help but noticed that there wasn't a single shot of her taking a bite of the food.
While there are some scenes that show Kim sniffing the food or jabbing her fork into it, fans are now starting to wonder if she actually tried any of the products.
"You didn’t even eat the food" commented one fan after the social media star shared the promotional video to her Instagram.

"But you didn't put anything in your mouth...are you really eating this? hahaha" asked a second.
"This is beyoooond meat, so good you don’t even have to eat it" a third suggested.
In one cutaway scene, Kim holds up half of a burger and chews, clearly enjoying whatever she's eating - but viewers pointed out that there wasn't a single bite taken out of the burger in her hand.
"She didn’t even eat the product! This is hilarious" one follower pointed out.

"The hamburger wasn't bitten" noted another.
And a third added: "She ain’t even eating the food. That hamburger isn’t even bit into."
"I ain’t buying it cause you ain’t really eating it" joked a fourth.

However, plenty more of Kim's fans were thrilled to see the SKIMS founder using her platform to promote environmentally friendly, vegan foods.
"Sooo happy you’re fronting plantbased alternatives," raved one follower.
"I hope this inspires more people to go plant based!" commented a second.
"Plant based queen," wrote a third.

Kim has been vocal in promoting the vegan diet over the last number of years. In the premiere of Kim's new Hulu reality show The Kardashians, Kim claimed that she ate a plant-based diet '90 percent' of the time during a family dinner.
So we're willing to bet she has probably tried Beyond Meat's food products... just maybe not when this advert was filmed!
