An Instagram user hasn't just kept up with the Kardashian-Jenner but actually overtaken her as the platform's most-followed woman.
Unfortunately for Kylie Jenner, she may be great at setting trends, but it doesn't take long for someone else to catch wind.

From Irina Shayk stealing her limelight by following in her footsteps and wearing the exact same lion-headed dress to the Schiaparelli show at Paris Fashion Week to Jenner being knocked off from her top spot of the most-followed woman on Instagram.
Jenner probably isn't crying about it - she's still a billionaire, albeit not quite 'self-made', - but who could possibly have nicked Jenner's crown?
At the time of writing, Jenner still has an impressive following of 380, 391, 424 people.

However, another woman has overtaken the owner of Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin, Kylie Swim and Kylie Baby - what's next? Kylie Pets? - by 677, 543 followers.
With their follow count totalling a whopping 381, 068, 967 - at the time of writing - a musician and actor has stolen the top spot on the social media platform.
The musician and actor in question? Wizards of Waverley Place's Selena Gomez.

Despite currently being the most-followed woman on Instagram, the 'Calm Down' singer hasn't been anywhere near as active as Jenner on social media.
In fact, Gomez didn't use social media for a whole four years because of the negative impact it was having on her mental wellbeing - the star having spoken only about how her mental health has been impacted by her lupus diagnosis, as well as what it's like having bipolar disorder.
She told Good Morning America: "It has changed my life completely. I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people.
"I understand how powerful the internet is, and in so many ways it's done the best things for the world. But for me, I get to my news that is actually important I get through people in my life. And everything else I could care less, because it's not my business to care about people's other business."

Gomez has recently spoken out against some social media users after she was body-shamed following her appearance at the 2023 Golden Globes.
Taking to her Instagram to record a livestream, the actor combatted: "I'm a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays.
"But we don't care."
