Love Island’s Laura Anderson has separated from her long-term boyfriend Gary Lucy, shortly after announcing that she was expecting her first child with the Hollyoaks actor.
The pair met on E4’s Celebs Go Dating last year and had been inseparable ever since, with Lucy regularly travelling from Essex to Glasgow to see the former Islander.
Sadly though, things didn't work out for the couple, with Gary confirming they have separated just hours after Laura announced they were expecting.
Fans won’t be surprised however, as the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram last month, sparking rumours of a split.

Despite this, the couple initially denied that they’d broken up as they struggle to come to terms with the separation.
However, Lucy confirmed earlier today that they’d called time on their relationship.
He told The Sun: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.”

Although they are no longer together, the couple are working together ahead of the little one’s arrival, which will be in August.
The actor is already a dad to four children, whom he shares with ex-wife Natasha Gray, and said he wants to be as involved as possible.
Lucy continued: “My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby."

He even travelled up to Scotland for her first scan, with the proud dad to be taking pictures of the Anderson as the former couple got their first glimpse of the baby.
The Love Island contestant shared the heartwarming video as part of a compilation on Instagram, which showed her pregnancy so far.
She also never before seen photos of the couple, prior to their split.

Shortly after this, the Hollyoaks actor can be excited seen holding up the tiny outfit which reveals the little one’s due date as August 2023.
The mum-to-be was similarly elated and gushed in the caption, writing: “Our hearts are full…Baby Lucy due Summer ’23”.

Though we are sad to see the couple separate, we're glad they are working together as co-parents.
We can’t wait to meet Baby Lucy later this year.
