Love Island star Paige Thorne has claimed she wasn't allowed to speak to Jay Younger when he first came into the villa despite the fact that he was her 'type to a tee'.
On this year's series, the 24-year-old initially had a turbulent time with Jacques O'Neill when he strayed with another woman at Casa Amor.
After he exited the show in a shock decision, Paige struck up a relationship with Love Island veteran Adam Collard.

Although they seemed loved up, having come in fifth place in the competition, the pair have since gone their separate ways.
The former paramedic took to the latest episode of the Saving Grace podcast where she spilled the beans on her time on the show.
At one point, talks turned to bombshell Jay, who was eliminated and sent home after failing to make a lasting connection.

That's not to say he didn't have plenty of interest, though, including from Paige when he first entered the villa.
Speaking on the podcast, she claimed that producers kept the pair apart while also suggesting that there should be a warning before Love Island to let people know certain situations have been 'enhanced' for entertainment purposes.
"Jay came in, he was my type to a tee, and then I wasn’t allowed to speak to him for a week. We just kept apart," she said.

When host GK Barry asked if that was because he was getting to know Ekin-Su at the time, Paige replied: "Yeah and that was the time I was getting to know Jacques, so Jacques has come in two days before then Jay came in and then we weren’t allowed to get to know each other."
As for the disclaimer, the star said: "You know how shows come on with a warning before it’s on, 'This show has been enhanced purely for your entertainment'?
"It should probably come with that warning, I will be honest... It’s TV at the end of the day. It isn’t as it seems."
Tyla has contacted ITV for comment.

Elsewhere in the interview, Paige confirmed her split with Adam, 26, before going into the juicy details.
"I’m single, living my best life," she joked, before admitting, "No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time."
GK Barry went on to ask Paige about compromising videos of Adam that had spread across social media just a few weeks ago.
In the video, she explained that Adam could be seen in McDonald's after a night out with his arm around a young blonde woman.

Paige admitted that she saw the footage around the same time that everyone else did, and thought nothing of it at first - but the evidence kept piling up.
"Do you know what?" she said. "It's not just that video. There are other videos that people don't know about. Of different people, on the same night, in different locations."
Ever the optimist, Paige is trying not to let the drama get to her and wants to avoid giving it more energy than it's worth.
"We had a great time, we had a nice time," she said before laughing: "Did I always know I was gonna get done over? Did I get Collard-ed?"
