Love Island fans are just finding the identity of Luca Bish's famous ex-girlfriend.

It now turns out Luca previously dated 2019 Strictly Come Dancing contestant and YouTuber Saffron Barker, 21.

Speaking to Metro, the 23-year-old said the pair met through mutual friends and dated for 'a few months' around six months to a year ago.
He said: "We used to go to the same school in Brighton.
"I think she had just come out of a relationship. And then yeah, that was it. We just kind of hit the ground running a bit. We still remain really good mates."

He didn't tell Saffron about heading to the villa beforehand, however.
"I see her as a good friend," he confessed.
In related Luca news, fans have been trying to guess the meaning behind his many tattoos.
One tat in particular – '1995' across his stomach – that is causing some serious confusion among viewers.

While many assumed it could be his birth year, fans quickly realised it couldn't be because of his age.
Confused viewers will be pleased to know that Luca didn't confuse his birth year. Thankfully his sister cleared things up on social media and explained the meaning behind the tattoo.
"Keep getting these messages so let's clear this up,” she said. "He does in fact know when he was born – it's for his sister's year of birth.”

His sister also revealed that Luca's Scorpio tattoo represents their granddad's star sign, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. For all the astrology fans out there, Luca himself is actually a Taurus.
Luca was inspired to join Love Island after seeing ‘how many couples it’s genuinely made’.
When he was announced as a cast member last week he said he came out of a four-year relationship ‘about a year ago’ and they broke up after they ‘drifted apart’.

So, how does he meet his potential partners? “I prefer to meet girls out and about,” he said.
“I think when you go looking for it, it’s not as easy though, it’s like you’re too desperate for it.
"If I think you’re the one or I like you, I’ll take you out on a date but other than that, if we talk and I don’t like where it’s going – then I won’t be throwing out dates.”
Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2.
