Nick Cannon has revealed that he doesn't give the mothers of his 12 children (and counting) a 'monthly allowance'.
Usually, if a couple have a child together but for whatever reason they don't remain a couple, the dad is expected to provide some form of financial support for that child. Pretty straightforward.

Well, that is unless you've got a dozen kids, the eldest being 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, and the youngest three-month-old Halo Marie, with half a dozen different women.
At the time of writing, Cannon has fathered two children with Mariah Carey, three with Brittany Bell, three with Abby De La Rosa, two with Alyssa Scott and one each with Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole.
And while Cannon claimed that he is a 'provider' for his family, he admitted that doesn't send any of the mothers cash every month.

Now, you might be reading this and thinking, 'That's pretty s****y behaviour', but hear him out.
While he doesn't just hand over a set amount of money on a regular basis, the TV presenter says his children have never gone without.
Speaking to Hot 104.1, Cannon said: "I don’t give myself that [guideline]. What they need, they get it."
He went on: "There’s never been something that one of the mothers of my children has asked for and they didn’t receive.”

The 42-year-old also took the opportunity to praise the mothers of his children for their 'sacrifice'.
“Everybody has their challenges – but when you really understand this woman has given the greatest sacrifice and sacrificed her body to bring a child into [this world], that’s the best gift any man could ask for,” he added.
"Regardless of what goes on in any scenario… I’ll never say anything disrespectful or bad about any of the mothers of my children."

This comes after Cannon admitted that he wishes he'd had a child with his former co-star Christina Milian.
Cannon and Milian dated for two years in the early Noughties, but decided to go their separate ways in 2005. She's welcomed three kids since their split, including two with husband Matt Pokora.
And when Milian welcomed her first child, Violet, in 2010 with her then-husband, rapper The-Dream, Cannon has admitted that he wasn't over the moon.
"Everybody talks about having kids," he said as he thought back on their relationship.

"I remember when I found out she was pregnant, I was like, ‘Dang, man'."
