Paying tribute to the former Love Island host, the 'Heart Skips a Bear' singer sang ‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond.
The pair had been close friends since their days of hosting the X Factor together and remained so until she tragically took her life in 2020 at age 40.
The singer then revealed that he wished he had 'been there' for Flack during her darkest period.

"It’s going to be hard for me to do this but, in 2020, I lost a very good friend of mine, someone that I love very, very much.
"Her name is Caroline Flack and it is one of the toughest things that has happened in my life and it is really sad to see someone so amazing leave us but she has never left and she is always in my heart."
The former presenter added that he has 'so many questions that I wanted answered and I am never ever going to get them answers'.

"But how I deal with that grief and something I always wanted to do and at every gig that I do for the rest of my career, I am always going to dedicate a song to Caroline." he said.
The singer then urged the audience to reach out to one another during tough times.
"‘I just want to say, for anyone in the room that is struggling right now or anyone you know is struggling then please give them a call because I really wish that I had been there for Caz." he said.

When talking during an exclusive interview afterwards, he maintained that he wanted to keep remembering her.
He said: “It’s hard to sing that in front of 12,000 people. I love Caz and it was my way of remembering her legacy, who she was in my life.
"I always said I don’t want anyone to forget what an amazing person she was.”
