Kourtney Kardashian has received criticism after posting a video of her 10-year-old daughter Penelope Disick doing a makeup tutorial.
The clip, which has since been deleted, was posted on the TikTok account Kourtney, 43, shares with her daughter.
Penelope filmed herself putting concealer under her eyes and across her forehead before blending the product over her face using a beauty blender.

The 10-year-old reality TV star then used a brush to apply eyeshadow and blush. To finish off her video, Penelope applied mascara and lip gloss before removing her hair band and pouting at the camera.
Social media users were divided after the video emerged, with some spectators suggesting Penelope was too young to be using makeup.
One social media critic tweeted: “Well when you grow up in a house full of vain women I didn’t even think about using make up until I was 16 years old.”

While another concerned Twitter user shared: “At her age she shouldn't be contouring and all that yea lipstick here and there but really? [sic]”
The video was also shared on Reddit on the popular thread R/KUWTK where people defended Penelope’s video and claimed it’s not uncommon for young girls to experiment with makeup.
“Any other kid doing this I would think it's just little girls stuff,” one responder said. “But Kris Jenner's granddaughter? This smells like Kylie 2.0, SORRY.”

One Reddit user claimed the reason people are so shocked by the video is because the youngster simply has better products to use than most people.
“I had a vanity as a kid and loved my low-quality makeup and nail polish,” they began. “It looks like she still gets to be a kid she just has…better items than most of us at that age." They added: “And what she’s doing is so minimal it’s not hurting anyone. I had access to eyeshadow and I looked crazy lol."
A second Reddit commenter said that while many girls play with makeup, most of their early experiments in the world of cosmetics are not posted on social media for millions of people to see and critique. “Yeah it's pretty normal to be fascinated with makeup at that age,” the response begins.

“I had lip-gloss and nail polish and would have each nail a different colour.
“I think the difference is most people would have done this at home to show off to their bestie or bond with their siblings or mom. Penelope is posting it to an app full of toxic and judgmental people.”
One supportive commenter shared: “Can you imagine how many glam sessions this child has seen? It’s probably as common to her as seeing someone brush her teeth. You go girl!?”
Tyla has contacted Kourtney's representatives for comment.
