Mum-of-two Pink has admitted her daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class without a phone because she has to 'prove' social media is good before she can use it.
The pop star, 43, shared some insights to her parenting techniques during an interview ahead of the release of her new album, Trustfall, which has been three years in the making.
As well as writing her new music, Pink has been juggling parenting duties for her kids, Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6, who she says she doesn't want to 'coddle' because the world will 'eat them up'

Speaking on KTU 103.5 FM's Carolina With Greg T In The Morning Show, Pink said she walks a 'fine line' of wanting to preserve her kids' 'innocence' while also 'preparing' them for the world.
When asked about her thoughts on introducing children to social media, the singer explained that her kids don't have phones.
"It’s hard," she admitted. "A lot of my friends have their kids on TikTok, and I don’t. I told Willow, 'that doesn't move my needle, they're not my kids, you're my kid'."

Pink also explained to her daughter that she has 'a lot of eyes on her' as the child of a global pop star, meaning what she posts will get a lot more traction than her friends do.
But while the singer assured her daughter does have a watch which allows her to communicate with her mum when necessary, Pink isn't willing to budge any time soon on social media.
"I told [Willow], point blank, 'If you can produce literature from a reputable source that tells me that social media is good for you, then you can be on it. Otherwise, good luck'," she said.
Pink added: "She could be a lawyer, she could literally pass the bar. She’s always right... She might actually find that literature, but good luck."

The singer's two kids are set to join her on her upcoming tours, though Pink made clear she doesn't want to 'take over' Willow's life and have her 'resent' her, so the 11-year-old going to be travelling back and forth to ensure she can live her own life, too.
"I'm so lucky to be able to bring my kids with me, and all of my guitar players' kids are going to be there... it's amazing," she said.
Pink shares her kids with her husband, Carey Hart, who she has been married to for nearly two decades.
