Stacey Solomon has shared her experience with trying to become friends with other mums and admitted that 'it was a struggle'.

As Stacey is getting closer to the date her son starts at a new school, it seems as though it all started to sink in for the mother of five.
She admitted that the thought of her second eldest child, Leighton, moving on to secondary school made her 'feel emotional now'.
Having five children whose ages ranging from a newborn to a 15-years-old, the mum certainly has got one busy school run on her shoulders.

Although she has been on the school drop-offs for some time, it doesn’t necessarily mean that making friends with the mums at the gate has been an easy task.
She shared a photo on Instagram of all the kids and their mums enjoying a dip in the pool at Pickle Cottage to celebrate Leighton's 'last fun run' of primary school.
Then taking to the platform speak to her followers, she explained how she felt about the situation.

"It's starting to feel emotional now because it's nearly summer and then that's it, none of Leighton's friends are going to the school that he's going to,” she said.
"I just feel really nervous for him but hopefully they'll all stay in touch, I really hope so because I like the mums too. It took me a really long time to find mums that like me.
"But Rex is going to Leighton's school and some of their siblings are going there as well so hopefully I'll still see them."
Stacey shares her three youngest children with former Eastenders actor, Joe Swash and has two older sons with partners from previous relationships.

Having met Joe in 2010 after winning I’m A Celebrity, the pair were close friends up until confirming their relationship in 2016.
Not long after, the pair were welcoming their first child, Rex, in 2019.
With six children in total, the couple have been very open and honest about how they maintain their blended family.
Appearing on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s podcast last year, Solomon spoke about her life at home.
