Stacey Solomon can add DIY to her list of skills after crafting an impressive Christmas gift for her daughter - with a very adorable meaning behind it. Watch Stacey’s video below:
The Loose Women panellist, 33, picked up her paint brush and drill this week to create an amazing surprise in time for Christmas for Rose, one, whom she shares with husband Joe Swash, 40.

Stacey’s inspiration for the gift came from Rose herself, who loves watching her mum use makeup at her dressing table.
In fact, she’s ‘obsessed’ with it, so the mum-of-four decided to make a smaller version for her daughter.
In a cute video shared with her 5.4 million Instagram followers this week, Stacey shared how she washed her old brushes and empty containers to give Rose her very own glam experience.
She painted a drawer shelf baby pink and used floral contact sheets for added pizazz and it definitely looks incredible, just like the rest of the family’s home, Pickle Cottage.

Stacey, who has built a reputation for her incredible upcycling and DIY projects, promised to share Rose’s reaction to the gift after Christmas Day.
“I decided to make Rose’s Christmas present this year and I’m so proud of it… She’s obsessed with my make up, brushes and sitting at my dressing table pulling the drawers out and looking at everything,” the former X-Factor contestant wrote in the caption.
“So I saved all of my empties & washed her up my spare brushes & made her her very own dressing table from a drawer shelf…

"Now we can get ready together and she has her very own versions of mummy’s things. I will probably hide the empty perfume from her but it looked nice for the video.
“Also I might cut the legs down they were spare from an Ikea flat pack so they’re a bit tall.”
At the start of November, the star revealed her plan to forage for her Christmas decorations this year, as well as make them out of things she already has.
One fan left a comment after spotting a Christmas tree in the background of one of her videos which read: “Please tell me that’s a Christmas tree.”

Stacey replied: “Your messages are cracking me up! Yes that was a Christmas tree in the background of my last video but I promise I haven’t started decorating yet…
“I put it up because I really want to forage Christmas this year.
She added: “I want to try and make all of my decorations out of things I already have & things I can find in the garden (or someone else’s garden).

“Because I love making stuff so so much & I’ve collected so much over the years it seems a waste to buy anything new but it is nice to change a little each year.”
We’re definitely trying this!
