Rapper and actor T.I. admitted he used to take his daughter Deyjah to the gynaecologist for annual check ups to confirm her virginity.
T.I. made the revelation on a now deleted episode of the Ladies Like Us podcast in 2019, where he was chatting to actor Nazanin Mandi and makeup artist Nadia Moham.
There's really no way to sugarcoat this - T.I. said every year he took his daughter for an appointment to check if she was still a virgin.

He said: "Deylah’s 18, just graduated high school now, and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself.
"And yes, not only have we had the conversation - we have yearly trips to the gynaecologist to check her hymen."
He went on to say that he'd take her for her yearly appointment right around her birthday and that he relied on his daughter to share the results of her gynaecologist appointment with him.

T.I. said: "So, it's this one time we go, I think this might have been after her 16th birthday. This is what we do. Right after the birthday we celebrate."
"Usually, like the day after the party, she's enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: 'Gyno. Tomorrow. 9.30.' So, we'll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk and the doctor's maintaining a high level of professionalism."
"He's like, 'Well, you know sir, I have to, in order to share information' - I'm like, 'Deyjah, they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you would not want me to know? See, doc? No problem.'"

The rapper was slammed for his revelation in some sections, with people calling him as 'disgusting, possessive and controlling' and daughter Deyjah appearing to 'like' a number of social media comments slating her father.
Others were shocked that he'd been able to look at her test results.
Deyjah later responded to her father's admittance, speaking on an episode of T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle a year later.
She confirmed what her father had admitted about her and said she 'couldn't have said no', while also saying he treated her differently to her brothers 'when it comes to sex and supervision'.

According to her, she found out about it when someone tagged her in a post on Twitter and she said her dad's words had left her 'shocked, hurt, angry, embarrassed'.
