Tom Parker's wife, Kelsey Parker, has opened up on how she told the children that their 'daddy had died' after Tom sadly passed away at the end of March.
The Wanted singer died at the age of 33, after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in October 2020.
Speaking this weekend, Kelsey opened up about how she broke the devastating news to their children - Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one.
Explaining that Aurelia had been 'confused' when Tom was taken to the hospice where he later passed away, Kelsey told The Sun on Sunday: "On the Wednesday when I knew I was going in to see Tom I said to her, 'I want to make sure that Daddy is OK and the angels come and take him'."

"We’ve just been really really honest with the children because you have to be. But having to tell her that her daddy had died, that was really tough."
Kelsey also recalled the moment Tom passed away, explaining how he had placed his wedding ring on her finger and was holding her hand when he died.
“It was still beautiful until the very end. It was just us and there was so much love in that room," she said.

“Live Forever by Oasis was playing. He was sedated and I was holding his hand... When he passed away I closed his eyes and I gave him a kiss and said I love you. I told him he was my everything.”
On Sunday evening, Kelsey shared a heartbreaking video in tribute to Tom. Alongside the video, she wrote: "Thank you for all your kind messages today and over the last few weeks. I wasn’t sure if or when to do an interview but Tom always believed in sharing our journey so this felt right.
"All of your messages have reassured me of that. I can’t tell you what it means to us. For keeping Tom and the kids in all of your thoughts and prayers. Positive Parkers Forever. Thank you #positiveparkers."
