New 'A-List' celebrities have been announced and people are all making the same brutal point

New 'A-List' celebrities have been announced and people are all making the same brutal point

The latest batch of new A list influencers has been revealed - but not everyone is happy

The latest iteration of 'A Listers' has been revealed and people are making a similar, albeit very brutal, point.

What does it take to be an A Lister? One can only imagine it's fame, wealth, popularity, and privilege.

Surely, being a household name is a non-negotiable component?

Well, it turns out we could be wrong.

The Hollywood Reporter have revealed their list of 'The Creator A-List: The 50 Most Influential Influencers,' aka the New A List.

According to the publication, it's a gathering of 'staggeringly talented TikTokers to the Instagram stars we can’t look away from, these are the names who will (and should) be dominating the business of new and old media.'

So, surely you've heard of them all? Or at least the majority of them?

Maybe not, actually.

While some names include the likes of TikTok fave Alix Earle and Chicken Shop Date creator Amelia Dimoldenberg, the vast majority are people we've never really heard of.

It seems most readers have the same complaint.

It seems most people only recognise Rhett and Link.

The Hollywood Reporter state: "YouTubers Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III (known as Rhett and Link) managed to take content and make it into an empire with an internet-first entertainment company, Mythical Entertainment. The comedy duo, both 46, host the long-running daily YouTube show Good Mythical Morning and recently launched a YouTube native TV series Wonderhole, where the two friends entertain fans with comedy.

When asked what the 'biggest rookie mistake we’ve made on our platform' was, they responded: "We made the ultimate one back in 2006 when we thought we didn’t need a YouTube channel because ‘we had a website'."

Not the juiciest answer.

The duo run @goodmythicalmorning, a channel where the duo 'eat truly unbelievable things, explore surprising new products and trends, compete in original games with celebrity guests, implement serious experiments in hilarious ways, and more."

One person wrote: "well I do know Rhett and Link."

Another said: "I see Rhett and Link that’s about it."

A third added: "I'm chronically online and could only place Rhett and Link."

While a fourth chimed in to add: "What is Rhett and Link doing with a bunch of people i’ve never seen before?"

In case you didn't know, Rhett and Link are two Americans in a comedy duo.

The pair bill themselves as 'internetainers,' and became well known on the internet for their YouTube channel.

The more you know!
