Adele gave son alternative name so she didn’t reveal his real one

Adele gave son alternative name so she didn’t reveal his real one

Adele wasn't quick to announce the name of her little boy for a very good reason

Adele shared her son's nickname when he was born after fearing it was too 'personal' and 'intimate' to reveal his real name.

Adele's son is due to turn 11 in October, and people are wondering where on earth that time has gone.

She shares custody of him with her former husband Simon Konecki, after the pair split following their eight-year relationship in 2019.

They kept the pregnancy and birth of their little boy very quiet, as Adele is known for disappearing from the music industry for years before releasing another album.

They welcomed Angelo in 2012, but weren't quick to share details about him with her adoring fans.

Instead, after multiple interviewers asking the name, she decided to give him an alternative nickname.

In 2013, despite reporters at the Golden Globes making an attempt to squeeze the answer out of her, the 'Rolling In The Deep' singer said: "It's too personal and intimate. I'm not ready.

"I just call him Little Peanut."

And let's be real, babies do kind of look like little peanuts when they're first born, so it's kind of realistic, as well as adorable.

And Adele recently admitted that she might not be done having babies.

During one of her Las Vegas residency shows in August last year, a pregnant member of the audience asked her to help choose her baby name.

Responding, the megastar said: "I really want to be a mum again soon.

"I've actually been writing lists.

"So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone."

And the bombshell announcements don't stop there.

Her most recent shows have been a collection of nights performing in Munich, in a venue that holds 80,000 people.

And one night, after a crowd member asked her to marry them, she dropped that she was already engaged, flashing her huge engagement ring.

There has been rumours for a while that the singer was engaged seen as she has been with her fiancé, Rich Paul, for three years.

Paul is an American sports agent, managing the likes of LeBron James and Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian's former beau.

The pair have been spotted together multiple times at the NBA looking loved-up.
