You’d probably expect celebs would want to stay quiet about their hygiene habits, given that many have a carefully curated public persona to maintain.
But in recent years we’ve come to find out some fairly unexpected revelations about A-lister bathing routines - or lack thereof, in some cases.
Taylor Swift, for instance, doesn’t tend to wash her legs in the shower unless she’s shaving them, while Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis chose not to bathe their kids every day when they were babies.

“If you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em,” Kutcher told Dax Shephard's popular Armchair Expert podcast in 2021, adding: "Otherwise, there's no point."
And America Ferrera had a confession of her own, having opened up to her fellow Barbie castmates about her ‘guilty pleasure’ in a Vanity Fair video.
The others tried to work out what it could be, with guesses including ‘cookie dough’ and ‘a massage’.

“Self care is your guilty pleasure,” Margot Robbie speculated.
“Or looking on Redfin and fantasising about other lives,” Kate McKinnon joked.
But Ferrera said they were way off, telling the group: “No, I don’t feel guilty about any of those things.
“But my guilty pleasure would be... I’m really gonna regret saying this.”

Issa Rae then chipped in: “Being away from your kids? Being away from your family?”
With a huge grin on her face, Ferrera finally put them out of their misery.
“It’s not showering for a few days!” she told them.
“WHAT?” Robbie asked in clear shock.

Rae, meanwhile, turned her head to the side in disgust, rolling her eyes before shaking her head with a smirk.
“I would not have expected that,” Robbie said.
Still, she’s far from the only one with a less hands-on approach.

James Corden previously spoke out about his own showering preferences, which probably aren’t ones you’re going to want to follow.
Speaking on his show, The Late Late Show, back in 2022, he revealed that the time he spends in the shower is a lot less than the average.
For context, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the average shower time is eight minutes.
But Corden said: "I’m in and out [of the shower] in a solid three or four."
He then left his colleagues stunned when he revealed how long he goes without shampooing.
He said: "I use soap, but I don’t wash my hair.
"I wash it every two months.
"That is a true story."
