It must be confusing at dinner time in the Fury household, as all four of Tyson's sons have exactly the same first name.

The 37-year-old British professional boxer revealed the reason behind the unique decision in the latest season of his family's Netflix documentary, At Home with the Furys.

Tyson shares four boys and three daughters with his wife, Paris Fury, with the eldest of the clan being 16 and the youngest being two.

And all four of his sons are called Prince - Prince John James, 15, Prince Tyson II, nine, Prince Adonis Amaziah, seven, and Prince Rico Paris, two.

They also share Venezuela, 16, who got engaged on her 16th birthday in September 2025, Valencia, eight, and Athena, four.

Thankfully, their sons have different middle names, which helps their loved ones tell them apart, as they generally go by these monikers rather than the standard first name.

Referring to his own nickname, 'The Gypsy King,' he said in the documentary: "I'm a king, and they're princes until they earn their rightful name."

So there you have it - as for when and how exactly they'll 'earn' their name, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Observant readers might also have noticed there's a theme with the girls' names too - like their mother, they're all named after cities or countries.

Tyson told the Guardian in 2013 that the name for his eldest child came to him in a dream.

He said: "One night, while I was sleeping. I thought of Venezuela."

Asked if he would like to visit the country after naming his daughter after it, Fury said: "Nah. What could I get in South America that I couldn't get here?"

Tyson's firstborn son, Prince John James, was almost called Patrick or, more controversially, Jesus.

He said: "Jesus Fury. I like that name. A lot of Mexicans are called Jesus."

Paris added: "That got a quick no from me."

More recently, Paris shut down misconceptions about the family during an interview with LADbible.

The 36-year-old said: "I do think that people would believe we lead a different lifestyle to what we do.

“We live a very normal lifestyle on a daily basis. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some incredibly high points and some crazy trips, and there’s this sort of ‘celebrity’ style life that we have sometimes, but on general we do try to keep a flat line of a normal base - like, mother, father, home, kids in school, dog runs, park runs, routine."

Paris added: “And I think people probably don’t believe that that’s how we live our life, because I hear that quite often.”

The second series of their reality TV show, At Home With The Furys, debuted on Netflix on 12 April with 10 episodes in total - and if you still haven't got your fix, it's already been renewed for a third season.

However, it's since been revealed that the first season almost never actually happened, as the boxer got cold feet and even contacted his lawyers to find out if they could get out of the deal.

In an interview with Capital XTRA Breakfast back in 2023, he said: "I wanted out. I was like, couple of weeks in, I said: 'Is there any way [out]?'

"I'd be on the phone with my lawyers. 'Is there any way I can get out of this? I don't know what I've signed up for again. I never said I'd do it again. I've done it again, I've made a mistake'."

But it all worked out for the best, and now the family has two successful seasons under their belt, with a third on the way!
