Fans have hailed Happy Valley’s Rhys Connah for his ‘brilliant’ acceptance speech after the drama won Memorable Moment at the TV BAFTAs this evening (12 May).
The 19-year-old actor, who has played Ryan Cawood since he was a youngster, took to the stage alone at London's Royal Festival Hall to pick up the award and provided viewers with a very sweet moment.
One X user penned: "So bloody happy #HappyValley won well deserved #BAFTATVAwards x."
