It's hardly a rarity nowadays for celebrity couples to be subjected to ceaseless speculation about the status of their love lives - especially when each of you are famous in your own right.
And no one is more painfully aware of that than Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who - despite appearing to be a picture of marital bliss - have been on the receiving end of relationship rumours for some time now.

For those out of the loop with the acting duo's high-profile romance, Deadpool frontman Ryan, 47, and Gossip Girl star Blake, 36, have been an item since all the way back in 2012.
A recently-divorced (from Scarlett Johansson) Ryan had been handed the titular role in Marvel's The Green Lantern at the time, while Blake - who'd previously enjoyed a relationship with co-star Penn Badgley - was cast as his on-screen love interest.
Though the superhero movie famously flopped, one good thing to come out of filming was their blossoming romance, with the couple having since tied the knot and welcomed four beautiful children together.
Naturally, some fans have seemingly been saddened after catching wind of alleged trouble in paradise between the pair.

And as a result, Blake has this week addressed rumours of divorce with a pretty iconic response.
In the comments of her latest Instagram upload - a snap alongside her hubby at the US premiere of his brand new blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine - a fan asked Blake: "You and Ryan need to post more of each other.
"There were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn't believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple".

And in a legendary statement, Blake clapped back within a matter of minutes: "haha they wish [laughing emoji]".
I know, what a queen.
As if we should have expected anything different from the married pair, who consistently express their adoration of one another in sweet public gestures.

In fact, in a heartwarming revelation made to Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, Blake opened up on her and Ryan's secret to a happy marriage.
"When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule not to work at the same time," she explained. "So that we could always prioritise our personal life."
The actor went on to admit that this isn't always as easy as you might imagine, and that it took some time to implement their rule after they'd welcomed their children.
"That takes working really hard when we're not. Just like financial planning and sustaining that; it takes balance," Blake added.
