Brandi Glanville has made an extremely candid admission following her facial disfigurement which was caused by a 'parasite'.
The 52-year-old The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum - who suffers from stress-induced angioedema - has been experiencing the painful symptoms since last October when she was taken to hospital after she passed out with a swollen face which also caused her eyes to close shut.
After numerous medical appointments, the reality TV star claimed that multiple physicians told her she could be suffering from a 'parasite that jumps around [her] face'.

Earlier this month (8 December), she wrote in a social media post: "What happened? I wish I knew I've been in & out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.'s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress induced edema."
Glanville then shared her own theory as to why her face has become so swollen adding: "I personally say it's Bravo."
Followers have since asked the former model if she still has a 'parasite' in her face, to which she responded: "I don’t f*ckking know. We don’t know."

Speaking to Page Six about working with Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr Nicholas Nikolov to help treat the symptoms from her suspected parasitic infection, Glanville continued: "I prefer [my face] when it’s a little swollen, to be honest.
"When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly, because I just feel like I look like a cr*ckhead."
Adding that she 'so desperately' wants an answer as to what's going on, she explained: "You could do anything you want to me, and I’d be OK with it.

"I’ve had days of looking normal, not weeks. I wish. But it comes and goes."
She added: "Over the weekend, it was only swollen on the right side of my face, so I looked like I had a really big meatball in the right side of my cheek."
Glanville described the swollen areas as being filled with an 'oily fluid', calling it 'disgusting' and 'so gross'.
"Whenever I get the chills, it’s generally an infection," she revealed, explaining her symptoms some more. "Then I start having the ticking in my ear, and then whatever’s in my face, moving around, started moving around again. And it starts sinking in again."

The whole situation has clearly negatively impacted Glanville's social life and mental health as she shared: "It’s hard to hide out during Christmas when everyone’s having their parties. It’s depressing. It just hurts my brain and my heart.
"The pain is more mental than anything, because I have been hiding and going through a deep, deep depression. Even if I could work now, at this point, I couldn’t. So it’s just been a really rough two years for me."
