Brody Jenner has revealed Caitlyn Jenner 'sent an apology' to him after making a sad admission about their relationship.
The 41-year-old TV personality - who made a few appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside his half and step-sisters and brother Kylie, Kendall, Khloé, Kim, Kourtney and Rob - recently opened up about feeling 'abandoned' as a child by Caitlyn, who gender transitioned back in 2015.
Speaking on Wednesday's episode (15 January) of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Brody explained: "I'd randomly see him - 'him' at the time - you know, here and there.

"But, mom would tell me that I would write on cards, 'Why doesn't dad call me on my birthday?'"
Looking back at his childhood, Brody took the opportunity to praise his 'incredible mother' but said Caitlyn 'wasn't around that much'.
After they split back in 1986, Caitlyn started up a relationship with Kris Jenner who she ended up marrying in 1991 before having two kids together - Kendall and Kylie.

Speaking about what it was like during the peak of KUWTK, Brody admitted: "To be honest, a little bit abandoned."
However, since then, The Hills star has been able to acknowledge Caitlyn was going through her 'own struggles' transitioning, adding: "And it was all that was put on TV, and there were these moments that we would have that was all filmed, and it just felt very invasive and not very genuine, I would say."
"Just recently, I got a real, sincere apology," he added. "It was the first time in my life that I've ever gotten an apology. You know, I'm sorry for not being there, and honestly, it meant a lot."
A rep for Caitlyn told PEOPLE 'Caitlyn has a positive relationship with Brody and Tia' and declined to comment on anything related to their private conversations.

Brody, who had a child of his own back in 2023 with his fiancée Tiarah 'Tia' Blanco, went on to share how his upbringing with Caitlyn shaped how he conducts himself as a father now.
"I think not having Bruce around growing up and her doing that transition, it was tough just being her son," he continued. "I just had a beautiful little daughter. I'm not living for myself anymore. I'm living for her."
He continued: "I think it's gonna make me a better father. I'm gonna do the exact opposite of, as far as being there for her, as my father did for me."
