Grimes has issued ex-partner Elon Musk with a heartbreaking public plea, claiming the tech boss has refused to intervene in their ‘child’s medical crisis’.
Seemingly having been left with no other option, the Canadian musician took to Musk's own social media platform X (previously known as Twitter) to tweet her former flame in the hope of receiving a response.
The chart-topper - real name Claire Elise Boucher - shares a total of three children with the Tesla CEO, the eldest of whom is four-year-old son X Æ A-12, often nicknamed X.

X recently appeared in the White House alongside his father to witness President Donald Trump sign a new executive order about Musk's position as Department of Government Efficiency co-lead.
Following the youngster's appearance in the Oval Office, 36-year-old Grimes issued a damning statement, claiming she had no idea Musk had plans to flaunt their son so publicly, being that he'd previously remained private.
After another user commended her for X's 'very polite' antics and branded the toddler 'so cute', the mother-of-three replied: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me."

She went on to add: "But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
Now, Grimes - who shares two younger children with Musk, a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, three, and a son, Techno Mechanicus, two - has been forced to return to the social media app, to issue the billionaire with a devastating plea.
While she didn't reveal which child she was referring to, Grimes shared a tweet begging Musk to intervene in their children's health, writing: "Plz respond about our child's medical crisis.
"I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention."

The tweet has since been deleted.

Grimes - who was first linked to Musk in 2018 - also opted not to go into further detail about the nature of the medical crisis.
In a follow-up tweet on Thursday (20 February), which also appears to have been deleted, she added: "If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this.

"This is urgent, Elon."
After another social media commented on her post - writing that 'going public' with her worries might not be the best course - Grimes hit back again.
"I'm not giving any details but he won't respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn't respond asap," she replied.
"So I need him to f****** respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that's where we're at."
