Emma Watson admitted she thought she was 'wrong for the job' while filming Harry Potter, as she recalled feeling 'unsettled' about one particular aspect.
The 34-year-old actress grew up in the spotlight after portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films from being just 10 years old.
She has since opened up about feeling 'isolated' in her teens with all the attention, and even admitted to feeling as though she wasn't right for the job.

Alongside acting came more than she bargained for, such a glamorous premieres in Leicester Square to promote the release of each film, and headlines with her name in them.
During a 2017 interview, she opened up about how she didn't enjoy parts of the role.
"I’d walk down the red carpet and go into the bathroom,” she recounted to Vanity Fair.

“I had on so much makeup and these big, fluffy, full-on dresses. I’d put my hands on the sink and look at myself in the mirror and say, ‘Who is this?’.
“I didn’t connect with the person who was looking back at me, and that was a very unsettling feeling,” she continued.
“I’ve often thought, ‘I’m so wrong for this job because I’m too serious’.”
Elsewhere, the star has previously revealed which Harry Potter scene was the worst to film.

Speaking during the Return To Hogwarts special in 2022, Emma admitted that kissing co-star Rupert Grint was an extremely uncomfortable experience.
“Obviously us kissing was the most horrifying thing either of us have ever had to go through,” she giggled.
She added that it 'felt wrong on every level' and that they just 'kept laughing.’

Giving further insight into the moment, Daniel Radcliffe added: "I did not make this better, because I’ve been told significantly that I was just being an absolute d**k about this and was like, 'I’m gonna come on set and watch you guys kiss'.
"I’m sorry about that, guys.”
Emma took a short break from the world of acting in 2019 after revealing she felt slightly 'caged'.

Which is easy to sympathise with after being in the same job since she was ten.
Finding things to do outside the world of glitz and glamour has not been a challenge for her, and she is highly regarded as an activist and ambassador around the world.
