Many of us took to social media yesterday to show off our Valentine's Day outfits, but it seems one celeb got quite the flack for her choice of dress.
Frankie Bridge, 35, has since issued a response to the cruel trolls who slammed her allegedly 'offensive' V-Day dress as during today's Loose Women segment.
The Saturdays chart-topper, opted for a stunning red maxi dress for the special occasion with silver hardware and cut-out detailing, and shared the outfit clip to her 1.6 million followers on Instagram. Have a look:
She captioned the post: "We’re not really ones to celebrate Valentine's, but how can I stay home when I’ve got this amazing @christopher_esber dress from @byrotation #gifted."

During today's Loose Women airing, Frankie's co-stars complimented the look, which prompted the singer to reveal she had in fact ruffled some weathers over the ensemble.
The comments on the Instagram post attest to exactly this with one social media hitting out: "Sorry dress is inappropriate."
"You are more classy girl than this," slammed a second, while a third snapped: "Think it's too revealing to wear out in public... normally love your fashion choices, sorry."

A fourth chimed in: "You have a fabulous figure but, unfortunately, I don’t like the dress. Sorry."
Another critic penned: "Sorry, you are lovely but that is a hideous dress!"
"Horrible dress sorry," piped up a sixth.
The majority of Frankie's followers, however, totally loved the get-up.

"I mean this dress was made for you!" praised one fan.
A second gushed: "Too many Karens commenting! You look unreal!"
"Why do people think she gives a sh*t if you like the dress! She looks amazing in it! I'd wear it to go to Asda if I had her figure!" commented a third.
Addressing the nastier comments about the dress, Frankie explained on Loose Women: "How dare I!

"It came with mixed reviews!"
She continued: "I just thought it's really funny in 2024 that other women would say to other women it was inappropriate or that as a mum I should not be wearing something like that or that it was offensive to my husband!"
Nadia Sawalha then replied: "I doubt very much your husband was offended!" to which Frankie revealed her hubby Wayne Bridge's reaction.

"He was not offended, let me tell you!" she assured before admitting the backlash was 'weird', adding: "I just thought it was a cool dress, I didn't really give it any other thought other than that.
"The top is really rigid, nothing is going anywhere, I've had a lot more out in the past!"
Frankie concluded: "It's fashion, it's there to have fun and feel good in it, it was Valentine's Day, why not!"
Why not indeed.
