Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle has revealed he has split from his wife Emma McVey after two years of marriage.
Gaz, who shares two children with Emma - Chester and Primrose - announced the news on Instagram during a Q&A with fans, saying there was no 'bad blood' but that the two parents both 'deserve to be happy'.
When asked if he was still with his wife, he candidly replied: “We split three weeks ago. We are still friends, there is no bad blood or anything and we have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids, which for me and Emma is always going to be the most important thing.

“We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents.”
Another person asked if he planned to stay in Leeds now that they have broken up, he said: "I can't be too far away from the kids so I'll probs be looking like an hour radius, as I think Newcastle will be too much of a travel with them weekly and during the week."
A number of fans had started to speculate that something was up after realising the duo didn't appear in one another's social media posts as much as they had done before.

One asked in a comment: "Have you and Emma split up? You are never in the same photos or post anything about each other anymore. Just curious."
Gaz's last grid post featuring Emma was posted on 13 September, resharing a photo from earlier in the year.
"Happy bday to the best mummy and wife see you soon," he wrote in a heartfelt tribute in the caption.

"Don’t look a day over 20. Love how you still get ID’d for a can of monster."
Earlier this year, Emma underwent surgery to fix several holes in her heart.
Concern was initially raised when she started to lose weight while breastfeeding after her first pregnancy with five-year-old Chester.
Blood tests later revealed she had three holes in her heart, dating back to her childhood, and she was fitted with a heart monitor while she waited for surgery.

Ahead of the procedure, Gaz wrote on Instagram: “Very hard very stressful very emotional day. Crazy what life throws at you sometimes.
“Big day for our family tomorrow.”
He then updated fans to let them know that the surgery had gone ‘amazing[ly] and all to plan’.

“They fixed the valve without having to have a replacement,” he said.
“And the large hole was fixed and also two smaller holes.
“She is awake and in recovery... in a lot of pain but talking and good.
“Now it’s about recovery and making sure she gets back to full fitness over the next few months.
“Thank you to everyone who has been messaging.”
Emma was expected to take three months to recover from the surgery, but Gaz made it clear she will have his full support throughout, expressing how proud he was of his wife in a heartfelt post - saying they would get through the process as a family.
While the former couple have now called it quits, it sounds like they're both working together to come up with a system that works for them and the kids.
