The Geordie Shore star who shares two children with Emma - Chester and Primrose - first dropped the news after one fan asked him: "It's personal, but are you & Emma still together? You 4 are a lovely family to follow!"
He responded reassuring that while there was no 'bad blood' between him and Emma, 31, he believed that they both 'deserve to be happy'.
When asked if he was still with his wife, Gaz candidly replied: "We split three weeks ago. We are still friends, there is no bad blood or anything and we have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids, which for me and Emma is always going to be the most important thing."

The Geordie Shore veteran concluded the announcement: "We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents."
Another fan asked if Gaz planned to stay in Leeds now that he and Emma have broken up, to which he said: "I can't be too far away from the kids so I'll probs be looking like an hour radius, as I think Newcastle will be too much of a travel with them weekly and during the week."
Following the split, the former couple are now reportedly looking to sell their million-pound three-storey mansion despite six-year renovation they embarked on together.

The minimalist abode features a scenic garden with a glass wall to separate the patio from the grass, a man cave, outdoor seating, cream and grey carpets, a huge dressing room, a warming wood burner and a pretty gigantic telly with photos of little Chester and Primrose adorning the neutral palette walls.
