Grimes has issued a plea about 'consent' following her son, 'Little X', appearing at The White House with his dad, Elon Musk.
A few weeks ago, Musk - who is head of the government's Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) - held a press conference alongside president Donald Trump.
The pair answered a series of questions from reporters while they witnessed Trump sign an executive order requiring federal agencies to cooperate with DOGE's effort to cut spending.

Little X was pretty much the star of the show after Musk decided to bring him along and was seen pulling faces, climbing all over his dad and even appearing to wipe his bogies on the Resolute desk.
The four-year-old's presence at the meeting was met with divide online and, among the controversy, many took to Twitter to find out how Grimes felt about her son being centre stage at the press conference.
"Lil X was very polite today!... You raised him well..." one user wrote. "He was so cute when he told DJT 'please forgive me, I need to pee'."

Grimes - who also shares two younger children, a daughter and a son, with the tech boss - was quick to reply to the tweet, admitting she was unaware of her former partner's plan to take him along/
"He should not be in public like this," she said. "I did not see this, thank u for alerting me."
She went on to add: "But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."

The Canadian musician also used Twitter to try and get in touch with her ex, writing in a now-deleted tweet: "Plz respond about our child's medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.
"If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon."
Now, in an interview with TIME, Grimes has made a further plea about her son's appearance, explaining she believes everyone should be able to 'consent to fame'.
"I would really like people to stop posting images of my kid everywhere," she said.

"I think fame is something you should consent to. Obviously, things will just be what they are. But I would really, really appreciate that. I can only ask, so I'm just asking."

Just this week, Musk was criticised after a viral video showed him walking off stage with Little X following behind.
At first, people jumped to the conclusion that Musk had 'forgotten' his son, however, a second clip of what happened changed people's opinions.

In the clip, Musk can be seen walking off stage, when X runs off in the opposite direction.
He gestures for X to follow him, and the four-year-old turns around and heads down the steps behind his dad, with Musk checking a few times to make sure he was there.
