In recent weeks, the turbulent relationship between exes Elon Musk and Grimes has been hitting headlines all over the world - particularly with regard to their co-parenting plan.
As such, many have been wondering where the former flames - who share three children - really stand with one another behind the scenes.
As well as questions on their recent Twitter rows and fiery social media statements, however, some have seemingly been curious about how much tech boss Musk, 53, might pay his ex-beau in child support.

It's a natural question, we guess - being that Musk is one of the wealthiest men on the planet, with billions upon billions in his bank account.

Canadian musician Grimes, 36, was first linked to Musk in 2018 and in the years that followed, they welcomed three children together - the eldest being four-year-old son X Æ A-12, often nicknamed X.
However, the former couple - who also share a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, three, and a son, Techno Mechanicus, two - became embroiled in a custody dispute in Texas in 2023 following their split, which has since been settled.

Business Insider reported that Musk likely pays $2,760 per month in child support as this is the cap in the state of Texas.
Following the case, the musician claimed she was 'going bankrupt' when asked about any upcoming projects.
Grimes wrote on Twitter at the time: "the threat of losing ur kids while going bankrupt fighting for them is not very conducive to creative thoughts.
"I just slept and cried every minute I wasn't explicitly fighting for my kids during that year."

In a separate post, Grimes claimed she'd only be receiving a 'fraction' of Musk's income, despite his mass wealth.

"Spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers rights having my instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn't have my kids and fighting and detaching from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me, with a fraction of his resources (or iq/ strategy experience), all the while I didn't see one of my babies for 5 months," she wrote.
Recently, the pair's eldest child X made a controversial appearance in the White House with his father, who has also welcomed 10 other children with four different women.

Grimes took to social media at the time to admit that she had no idea the Tesla CEO had plans to take their son to the Oval Office.
"He should not be in public like this," she replied to another user. "I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
In the days that followed, Grimes also directed a public appeal towards Musk, imploring him to intervene in a medical emergency that one of their children was enduring.
"Plz respond about our child's medical crisis," Grimes wrote on Twitter, mentioning her ex specifically.

"I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention."
