Hannah Montana fans don’t know what to think after realising the age difference on set 'that nobody talks about'.
The beloved Disney Channel show first hit our screens back in 2006, and launched the career of Miley Cyrus, who starred as the titular character.
Starring in the sitcom alongside Miley included her own dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as well as Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Sterling Knight, Moisés Arias, and Jason Earles.

Now, Jason played the character of Miley's older annoying brother, named Jackson.
In the TV series, he was only meant to be a few years older than her - but he was actually almost closer in age to his on-screen dad, Billy Ray, than he was to Miley.
The 'Flowers' singer, now 32, was just 13 years old when she took on the Hannah Montana role.

Jason, however, was 29 years old when the show began, notably older than his 16-year-old character.
Yep, Jason was just three years younger than the age Miley is now when he played the teen on the show - something which some fans reckon 'was a lot weirder than we think'.
And even more interesting?

There's just 16 years between Jason, 47, and Billy Ray, 63 - one year bigger of an age gap than he and Miley's which is 15 years.
One viewer, Josh Denney, took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the matter, namely that he found the age gaps between Jason and his co-stars 'weird', also pointing to him allegedly being 'forced to be a part' of teen magazines.
While some were shocked by his age, many were quick to share their thoughts that the situation was 'not weird at all'.
One Instagram user hit out: "I’m sorry. He was 30????"

"They always use adults to play teens," pointed out a second, while a third chimed in: "Nobody talks about it because he looked the age he was playing so it doesn’t matter. They were siblings on the show. It’s not weird at all."
A fourth echoed: "As someone who watched it I don’t find nothing weird about it. It was a job."
"I don’t think it’s that weird especially when girls had posters of *NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, etc." a fifth echoed.

A sixth quipped: "He looked 16 so makes more sense then him playing someone his age. He definitely didn't look 30."
"Minors could only work so many hours a day, having older people 'pass' as teens allowed studios to keep cameras rolling for as long as needed to get scenes done in the allotted time," explained another.
And a final Hannah Montana fan added: "It's not weird it's acting."
What do you make of it?
