Jason Kelce is sharing a supportive message to his brother after his team was defeated at the Super Bowl.
The New Heights podcast host had the most supportive comments about his brother following Super Bowl LIX. Jason played 13 seasons as center for the Philadelphia Eagles and his former team won the championship against Travis’ team, the Kansas City Chiefs on 9 February in New Orleans.
The 37-year-old noted how it was an ‘odd’ game for him to watch and after processing his emotions, he was able to share a message celebrating his brother’s achievements. He also highlighted the success of the Eagles and gave new insight into relating to his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, who had to watch the brothers face off against each other during Super Bowl LVII (the Chiefs won that year).

That game was odd for me to watch if I’m being completely honest. I knew it was going to be mixed emotions before, during, and after, and I now know what my parents had to deal with two years ago,” Jason shared on X on 10 February.
“On one hand, I wanted what is best for my brother, and to see his success. And on the other hand, there are so many people, teammates, and coaches, in the Philadelphia Eagles organization that I care deeply about, many of whom I owe my own success to throughout my career.”
Jason went on to give a shoutout to his brother’s accomplishments. “As for my brother, there isn’t a person I love or care about more.

“It has been tough to process these feelings, of course I feel for him and am always rooting for him, but I know he does not need, nor want my pity. He has amassed greatness few on this planet could ever dream of, as has his team, and they should feel pride in their accomplishments this season and in the past.”
He added: “I know right now they are still thinking of last night and the shortcomings in the last game. But in time that will fade, and the greatness they have exhibited as a group will remain as one of the most dominant eras of football ever.”

“The character and swagger of this Eagles team was something truly special to behold. A true representation of the toughness and grit that makes Philadelphia what it is.”
Travis Kelce has since made clear his true feelings about the Super Bowl loss during a post-game interview.
He took the time to praise the winning team, explaining to the numerous reporters crowded around him: "Hats off to the Eagles, they got after us, all three phases."
The tight end continued: "We couldn’t get it going offensively. They just got after us on all three phases. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad. We haven’t played that bad all year."

Kelce went on to note that the Chiefs 'just couldn’t find that spark, couldn’t find that momentum'.
He finally resolved: "This one’s going to hurt. Let it hurt and figure out how to get better because of it."
