Jeff Goldblum has revealed why he waited until 62 to have children, after he admitted to 'doing the math' about how old they'll be.
Let's face it, it's a lot easier for men to wait until later on in life to become a parent.
They don't exactly have the same biological clock that women do, meaning that they could theoretically be having children in their eighties.

And whilst the average age of women becoming mothers has increased in recent years to their thirties, lots of women are limited in if they can carry children following the age of 40.
Jeff Goldblum recently opened up about the 'great opportunity' of becoming a dad at the age of 62.
Currently 71, he and his wife Emilie Livingston, 41, share two sons - Charlie, nine, and River, seven.

Talking to the Independent, he said: "It's amazing.
"Every emotion comes up, and you are forced to examine everything that you model and could be better at.
"It's a great task and opportunity."

And this isn't the first time he's opened up about the decision to wait for later in life.
Talking to iNews in 2018, he said: "I'm glad I waited.
"It feels great to do it right now because all the things I'm considering are perfectly suited to the big questions and challenges of having kids, and what you want to expose them to.
"What you want to leave them with, what life is, and what kind of life you contribute to them."

He joked: "I keep doing the math, and keep extrapolating where they're going to be, and where I'm going to be.
"And when I buy a watch, I wonder who's going to get it."
The American star met his wife Emilie, a former Olympic gymnast, at a gym in 2011.
The couple hit things off, and decided to get married in 2014, and later welcomed their two sons in 2015 and 2017.

Despite being nepo babies, Goldblum has been clear that he wants his two children to make their own lives without a leg-up from him.
Talking to iHeart Radio he said: "Hey, you know, you’ve got to row your own boat. "It’s an important thing to teach kids.
“I’m not going to do it for you.
"And you’re not going to want me to do it for you.
“You’ve got to figure out how to find out what’s wanted and needed and where that intersects with your love and passion and what you can do.
“And even if it doesn’t, you might have to do that anyway.”
