Jennifer Love Hewitt has hit back at trolls who claim she now looks ‘unrecognisable’.
The Ghost Whisperer star was inundated with cruel comments after her hairstylist uploaded a clip of the A-Lister with her new haircut.
While most of us would feel cut up about the internet’s reaction, the 44-year-old decided to use her new look to hilariously poke fun at the incident.

Having been known for her signature long dark hair, the Party of Five actor decided to majorly change this up as she debuted a short chocolate bob.
Her stylist Nikki Lee even alluded to this in her Instagram caption, writing: “Was time to spice things up…”
Rapidly gaining over 52,000 likes, fans gushed about Love Hewitt’s new do in the comments with one writing: “…the color and cut! She is even more beautiful and so natural.”

Sadly though, people began to claim that the A-lister had undergone plastic surgery and even debated what possible procedures had been done.
In one particularly cruel comment, a former fan claimed that the actor looked ‘unrecognisable’.
However, Love Hewitt has found a hilarious way of dealing with the trolls.
On her stories, the Heartbreakers star uploaded several snaps with extreme filters - adding captions hitting back at the plastic surgery claims.

To emphasise her point, she changed the filter each time and gave herself wildly exaggerated eyes and lips in the style of Jessica Rabbit.
She then cheekily wrote: “So many people said I look different…I look the same as always. Couldn’t look more natural. I woke up like this. Filters don’t change you that much.”
In another story, she called on others to ‘be kind’ and told her 1.4 million followers: “Let people be filtered or unfiltered. Be good. Be kind. Spread love.”

Annoyingly, it’s not the first time the Ghost Whisper actor has come under fire for her looks, with fans having a similar reaction to a recent no-make-up selfie.
Uploaded to celebrate her birthday, the horror star gushed about how lucky she felt to have aged another year.
She wrote: "Woke up at 4am and was 44! I am deeply grateful, blessed, happy, sometimes insecure about aging, a mom of three incredible babies, married to the most handsome and awesome man, and really excited to see what this year has for us.
"I feel magic in the air and I love magic. Off to work… thank you mom for giving me life. I miss you so much. Gonna get my job done and my birthday cheers on later."
