Jesy Nelson 'can't leave hospital' but shared a positive update with fans about her unborn twins, who have been diagnosed with a rare medical condition.
After announcing her pregnancy with partner Zion Foster, 26, back in January, the British pop star revealed that her twin babies had pre-stage TTTS.
The condition refers to twin-to-twin transfusion and, while rare, it can pose a fatal risk to both babies if not caught in its earliest stages.
Fans of the singer have been following her complicated journey with pregnancy closely, but the 33-year-old was able to share some positive news over the weekend (6 April).

It comes after Jesy was advised to go for emergency surgery after experiencing alarming symptoms, such as her belly tightening and struggling to breathe.
What is TTTS?
Twin-to-twin transfusion reportedly occurs in 10-15 percent of twin pregnancies and happens when the unborn babies share one placenta.
This is as well as a network of blood vessels that supply both oxygen and nutrients - instead of each feeding off its own.

The condition can result in the vessel connections with the placenta being unevenly dispersed, which could trigger an imbalance of blood exchange between babies.
In extreme situations, one baby could be left underfed - prompting malnourishment or worse, organ failure - and the other baby overfed, which could leave them susceptible to an overwork of the heart.
But Jesy later shared that despite her twins suffering from the condition, her advised surgery had gone to plan, and her pregnancy was back on track.

On 30 March, she shared that her procedure had been a huge success.
Speaking to her fans on Instagram, Jesy said: "First of all, we want to say a Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing and strong mums out there. And secondly, we are still in hospital, so I've been recovering."
With a smile on her face, she added: "The TTTS has cleared up.

"The operation was a success which is just absolutely incredible. We are so, so, lucky to have the most amazing doctors."
Despite the 'amazing news', the singer added that she 'can't leave hospital' due to her cervix being so short that her waters could potentially break at any time.
But the good news didn't stop there.
