It seems JoJo Siwa has been glowing up her celebrity image during her time on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 21-year-old Dance Moms star has been in the CBB house for a couple of weeks now, and has yet to be booted out of the hit ITV show.
Since entering the celeb-packed house, she's struck up an unlikely friendship with Love Island star Chris Hughes, 32.

Throughout the weeks, JoJo and Chris have become closer and closer to one another, with him sticking up for her when she faced 'homophobic comments' from ex-housemate Mickey Rourke, sharing cuddles in bed and writing secret messages to each other.
But recently, she opened up to him about her gender identity, for which she initially refused to reveal to Big Brother.

When the pair were pulled into the diary room to be confronted about writing their secret messages, Big Brother asked: "JoJo, you were writing secret messages to Chris last night. What was the secret message?"

The 'Karma' singer replied: "It's something that I'm not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about, but it has to do with gender and how do I feel..."
She then explained that she has met non-binary people who she relates the most to, as opposed to women and men, questioning whether she herself could be non-binary.
She also shared in the house that the show made her realise she’s 'not a lesbian' and instead identifies as 'queer'.
Viewers saw as she opened up to fellow CBB housemate and drag queen, Danny Beard, about now wanting to identify as 'queer'.

She told the RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner: "I feel so queer."
"I'm queer!" Danny responded to her, which led to JoJo stating: "I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian. I think you - I think being here - I've realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer.”
JoJo continued: "And I think that's really cool, I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q baby! That's what I love about sexuality."

Since her time on the show, she has slowly broken away from the child-like persona that she has always been known well for which, on the reality dance show, was very energetic and extravagant.
But in the house, viewers have quickly grown to love her for who she really is, and have praised her maturity online.
On X, fans talked her up, and I think she might have gained a new UK following because of this.

It all came about when a user shared this take: "Jojo has completely changed how people perceive her on this show. I thought she would be loud and full of herself, but she’s actually SO down to earth, so kind and has her head screwed on. She’s carried this series on her back and deserves to win."
In response, many agreed with her and shared their own opinion on the singer and dancer.
One person wrote: "Totally agree. I thought I wouldn't like her but I really do."
And someone else responded: "Agree lovely mature girl and very smart she’s having none of Danny’s goading."
Let’s see what else she does in the CBB house.
