According to a statement seen by the PA news agency, cops pulled him over in a 2025 BMW for driving through a stop sign in Sag Harbor, an affluent village in the Hamptons, and failing to stay within the lines on the road.
When officers stopped him, they described his eyes as ‘bloodshot and glassy’, and had a ‘strong odour of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath’.
According to court documents, Timberlake’s speech was slowed, and he claimed only had ‘one martini’ with friends.

The popstar has never been far from controversy, after having to publicly apologise to his wife after being pictured holding hands with his Palmers co-star Alisha Wainwright.
In the apology, he said: “I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumours that are hurting the people I love.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star.”
