Now, it's officially World Emoji Day today (17 July) and it's clear that no matter whether you're a cry-laughing fanatic, love yourself a go-to red love heart or you dabble in the slightly risqué aubergine emoji - many of us include an array of our favourite emoticons in our everyday messaging.
And celebrities and members of the Royal Family are clearly no different as Kate Middleton once accidentally exposed her most used emoji to the entire world.
A few years back in 2020, the Princess of Wales shared an 'Early Years' video to her and Prince William's official Instagram account.
Kate captioned the post: "Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a question on the early years throughout the week.

"We’ve seen such an incredible response, touching on so many different aspects of the early years.
"This is just the start of the conversation, and we look forward to continuing it in the months and years ahead."
In the clip, she thanked her fans for sending in their questions 'with wonderful emojis attached to them' before showing her phone screen momentarily to the camera.
In doing so, she flashed a handful few of her most-used emojis.

According to EmojiPedia, Kate's most recently used emojis appeared to be two girls holding hands, followed by a pineapple, sliced-up cucumber, a gust of wind, a purple alien monster, and a woman bowing.
However, the most surprising of the selection were the vomiting face and an angry swearing face emoji.
I mean, everyone has to blow off steam, even the Royals.

In other Royals news, over the weekend Kate and Princess Charlotte, nine, were spotted at the Wimbledon finals alongside her younger sister, Pippa, 40.
This was Kate's first public appearance in almost a month as she was last seen at Trooping the Colour alongside her husband.
The mother-of-three has been undergoing treatment for cancer over the last six months after making the announcement back in March.

In the statement, Kate explained: "I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery.
"It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I've had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful."
She added: "We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment.
"My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery."
