Katie Piper has given her fans an important health update following years of struggles with her eye.
The Loose Women star has been an advocate for her own health for years, after suffering traumatic injuries following a tragic attack in 2008 at the hands of her former boyfriend and an accomplice.
The model was just 24-years-old when her ex, Daniel Lynch, 47, plotted against her when they broke up and decided on an acid attack to enact revenge.

In March of that same year, he was helped by Stefan Sylvestre, who soaked Katie in acid in broad daylight.
He fled the country after committing the crime, while Lynch was apprehended and sent to prison.
Since then, she has undergone 400 operations in order to heal from the significant injuries caused by the acid.
